Cycle of life is a part of a series of paintings exploring the relationship of all living things. The tree woman represents our dependence on the natural world. This painting is also about my personal journey of life between periods of rest and rejuvination and when I am active and reaching out to the world around me. The stratosphere of the earth is at the bottom left side of the paintings- for me this represents another level of the cycle of all things with the and destruction of land in the form of mountains, volcanos and earthquakes.
